BUSY BUSY BUSY... COLD COLD COLD

It is hard to believe that a week ago Thursday I was out on my motorcycle for a ride!  Back to full winter gear this week - boo hiss...sooooooooooooo ready for spring.  I did have a quiet moment and sketched some umbrellas one morning while listening to the soft rain (before the sleet and ice hit) - I was so thinking spring!!!  Each day has had an agenda so no time to really focus - I decided to leave my journal open on my studio table and just dab some paint on it before hopping into the shower each day.   So here is my peek into a spring day that I am so waiting for!!!  Happy Paint Party Friday...I probably won't get to visit many until Sunday - I can't wait.  Thanks to Kristin and Eva for hosting!

    Keep Thinking Spring - We probably won't see it till mid April. Remember March came in nice - so it has to go out wild.

    Your picture is very nice- maybe I need to go out and get a colorful umbrella - instead of boring old black.

    colorful umbrellas are so cool! I hate the rain, but I love umbrellas. We have had spring weather in Va. for a while, but this weekend, they say it will be back to winter. Run, little plants, run. :-)

    This is so sweet! I love the pretty pastel colors and so perfect for this time of year. We are under a cold spell too. I love cooler weather but I would like to start seeing some signs of life. It has been a long, cold and snow filled winter this year.

    Love this, umbrellas make great subject matter. We've really needed them here lately as it has been an unusually wet March.

    I love umbellas, for some reason, they always make me smile.....they're colorful and fun and bring to mind a tap dancing Fred Estaire. Thanks for the smile!

    Its raining and cold here too! My daughter keeps saying why is all the rain now? It should be in April for May flowers. There will be more, lol. Lovely journal page!! HPPF!

    I love you finished painting in your previous post. It came out beautifully! Love the colors of this piece too. We have had similar weather in these parts....we even had Thundersnow the other day. I have never seen it thunder and lightning while is was snowing....crazy!

    What a great idea to leave you sketchbook open and do a little each day. Are you using watercolor? It's just lovely. Would make a great card.

    wow, thanks for all the comments once again - yes, it is watercolors - so I left my palette out with press and seal wrap over it - cup of clean water - dab and go until the next opportunity. Feeling a bit under the weather today so may not get to everyone until sometime this week but I love taking my time!
