Then I had more fun sketching and painting my cousin Cat! She was at a Motley Crew concert and this is a copy of a picture taken of her. Unfortunately, I didn't do her justice she is so beautiful and my painting is a bit off but I had so much fun attempting to do a quick portrait on sheet music. So Cat in Concert....

i really love your butterfly! beautiful and the picture of Cat is so fun!
oh these are so good, and they are just journal pages!
Very cool! I really like these, xoxo!
really beautiful butterfly!
Well I was going to ask if you named her Cat because she was born with whiskers...
That's a beautiful butterfly journal page. Drawing can be very meditative for me especially when I'm working with patterns.
Fun capture of your "cat" on paper!
this is a beautiful butterfly and journal page!
love them both!!
as always..i'm pea-green with envy of your talent!!
The portrait is great fun, but I really love that butterfly... simply gorgeous..xx
Butterfly just is so life-like. Must have taken you a long time to finish it! But it is remarkable!
Awesome choice of backgrounds! The butterfly is so pretty and neat. What a steady hand to paint those tiny spaces.
Oh these are really great. Love the cat face girl - such fun!
Your completed butterfly is beautiful - I love the colours, so gentle, like the butterfly. And it looks so good on top of the background text.
As for your cousin - is she still speaking to you? But it's a good sketch of one of the ways you think of her.
Thank you for the really encouraging comments you have made on my last two blogs - thank you. Regards, Jez
I've just discovered your lovely blog, and am now following! So nice to "meet" you! ♥
Hugs,
Anne
Love the butterfly! I really like how you can see the writing in the background. Very nice work.
