PPF and a busy life

So again, it's Paint Party Friday already and I haven't gotten done what I had planned.  Spent yesterday trying to find pictures of my oldest son who is turning  30!  OY.  My daughter in law is giving him a surprise party and wants a pic for every year.  I have boxes and boxes and boxes of photos - most undated and unorganized.  OMG what a task.  I have managed to get 24 yrs done.  I tried using Shutterbug or whatever it is called and was ready to smash my computer... so have copied to a disc and will be off to the do it yourself dept. after work tonight.

So, this morning just to make sure I started my day calmly... I tried a new coffee in my never ending quest for "the" one.  Although everytime I decide on "the" one, the next time I go to the store they aren't carrying it any longer! Another, OY.

sharing an older watercolor / pitt pen today
This morning Newman's Own, Nell's Vanilla Caramel.... ahhhhhhhhhhhhhhhh!  What is your favorite coffee????

Thanks to Eva and Kristin for hosting Paint Party Friday's!!!!  a great place to learn and be inspired!

cheers, dana

Wonderful creation ~ like the 'steam' rising ~ I can't drink coffee because of the caffeine ~ enjoy your 'journey' through coffees ~ (A Creative Harbor) ^_^

Wonderful "mug" shot! I know what you mean about the stores not carrying something right after I start to really like it...Happy PPF!

Love the coffee mug... congrats to your son... my favourite coffee is a small expresso after a meal in a French restaurant (lucky I live in France) or the instant stuff I have in my cupboard. As you can see I'm not really fussy, as long as it's strong smooth and hot...yum :)

I"m a coffee girl too. Its the only way I start my day is over a cuppa (or two). I'm a plain jane girl, black and no flavors - just straight up. Great cup you have there. Happy PPF

I'm not a coffee drinker, but I do love anything with caramel in it. Lovely illustration and Happy PPF!

Happy birthday to your son - what a task looking through 30 years' worth of photos but what a great surprise for your son! I know exactly what you mean - I find a new favourite whatever - lip balm, eyeshadow, flavoured water and as soon as I declare it my favourite it gets discontinued!! The only coffee I drink these days are the Rice Milk Lattes I make myself!

Lovely painting, I like the zen patterns in the steam. I confess I don't drink fancy coffee. I put so much milk and chocolate in it that it's pretty much a hot chocolate with a splash of coffee. When I get fancy coffee I love the fall/winter flavored lattes at Starbuck...Happy PPF!

A wonderful mug painting!! I am addicted to coffee but only drink it in the AM so I no longer drink much flavored. My fave is Starbucks Sumatra blend and I do love a good French coffee-now you know why I stop in the AM :):) Happy PPF!

I will have to try Newman's Own, Nell's Vanilla Caramel. My favorite coffees are actually Dunkin Donut brands...right now I make cinnamon spice in the morning. Yum.

Wonderful painting! Oh the morning copy, I have a keurig so I just get Tully's Bold but I add a Coconut Creamer that makes it just creamy delicious to me. Although it was a task, I bet you enjoyed the walk down memory lane going through those pics of your Son! Have a wonderful weekend! Happy PPF!

Remember when WE reached 30 and felt we had passed some turning point. And then the children reach it - but even worse when your daughters get to be over 50.

Our favourite coffee was a Fair Trade Ethopian Mocha from our local supermarket. Believe it or not it made us feel very relaxed. And guess what ....... they've now stopped selling it and gone for a cheaper range.

Happy Birthday to your son, and hope the celebrations go well.

Love american hazelnut coffee, even "artificially flavored", too bad it's not available in Finland! I usually make a soya milk latte... Lovely piece!

As long as you find time to drink coffee and paint it, life is manageable.

I'll bet going back through all those years of photos was a blast.

What a beautiful watercolor! I am a huge coffee fan - cappuccinos are a current favorite :) Good luck with the picture task, it would do my head in too - but what a sweet thing of you both to do! xoxo

Picking out a single pic for a year can be pretty tough. :) Coffee sounds like a good idea although I'm a tea girl myself. zen chai to be precise. :)

What a wonderful cup of coffee painting! It is very sweet. I really only like coffee as a vehicle for the delivery of chocolate and/or caramel... I think you have done a valiant job of putting together a yearly photograph for the party!
