I AM CURRENTLY HAVING AN EMOTIONAL MELTDOWN. THE LAST 6 YEARS OF MY LIFE WERE IN THIS COMPUTER!

Take a breath and call a professional computer doctor(geek squad) ...they may still be able to get them!!!

I know exactly how you feel... I lost all the work I had done on my second novel... the whole lot gone...I just sat down and cryed... a year worth of work gone. Im sorry to say I only got two chapters back but I had a virus and I didn't call the geek squad.. On the bright side I think the stuff I have written now is better and I learned to back up everything... I'll pray you get it all back hugs Wendy

Sorry to hear this - any word on what happened?
About a year ago hubby bought me an external notebook to save all my stuff to - and now all I do is keep a folder for the new stuff that needs to be transferred to it and every two months I make the transfer. that way I don't lose much if I have a problem with the computer.

I'M AM SOOOOO VERY SORRY ABOUT THAT. I WILL PRAY IT ALL COMES BACK....
I'M RUNNING BEHIND ON PINK SATURDAY...I DIDN'T EVEN POST UNTIL 1130 PM SATURDAY NIGHT AND IT IS 0407 SUNDAY MORNING AND MY CHIHUAHUA, ROMEO, AND MY CATS ANDY AND WALKER ARE SLEEPING IN THE OFFICE BESIDE ME.
I THINK WHEN YOU FIND OUT ALL ABOUT THIS YOU SHOULD DO A BIG POST BECAUSE I NEVER ONCE THOUGHT TO BACK UP...I HAVE MY DAUGHTERS FUNERAL PICTURES AND THERE ARE PICTURES THAT ARE JUST PRICELESS...NO WONDER YOU WOULD HAVE A MELT DOWN

Ohhh....I hate it when that happens! My little ol laptop is sooo prone to gremlins too. When I was doing my Mad Tea Party post which I had been working on for a whole month, someting happened and I lost 25 of the 30 pics and all the text I posted. I had to do it all over again. Hope you get them back.
